I am Al Watts, DadWriter (he/him/his). I am a father of four, husband, Catholic, historian, Civil War re-enactor, author, LGBTQ+ ally, runner, and sports fan. I have been a stay-at-home dad to four intelligent, active and loud children since 2002. Currently I am a graduate student studying Public History. From 2011 to 2015 I served as President of the National At-Home Dad Network and, in that time, also authored two critically acclaimed books on fatherhood: Dads Behaving DADLY and Dads Behaving DADLY 2. As an author, I have appeared on CBS This Morning, NPR's Here & Now with Robin Young, The New York Times and my daughter's Instagram.

DADS BEHAVING DADLY
I am the co-author of Dads Behaving DADLY: 67 Truths, Tears & Triumphs of Modern Fatherhood and Dads Behaving DADLY 2: 72 More Truths, Tears & Triumphs of Modern Fatherhood. Dr. Laura Schlessinger called Dads Behaving DADLY "a must read for all parents." Author and CNN reporter Josh Levs called the books "a clear reflection that manhood has evolved." Jessica DeGroot of ThirdPath Institute warns, "be touched and inspired."
You can buy the books, including my authentic signature, today for $14.95 each or $26.95 together (plus shipping) by emailing me at al@dadwriter.com Or, without my signature, you can buy them at Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
