Hi there! Welcome to DadWriter.com. I am Al Watts. I use he/him/his pronouns.
I believe words are the air we breathe. Reading is inhaling. Writing is exhaling.
On this site, I do a lot of exhaling.
I hope what you inhale here is relatable. That is what all story-telling is about anyway. Through the stories of my personal journey and the journeys of those I write about or through characters in my fictional short stories and novels, I hope you find a common bond of life experience which educates and inspires.
I write about fatherhood, mostly. I have four growing children who give me plenty of material every day. I also write about faith, love, history, LGBTQ+ affirmation, mental health and anything else that inspires me. Enjoy, engage and share!
